With MeetingResult's Meeting Effectiveness Index or MEI we have provided a way to quantitatively measure your meeting performance using over 20 metrics that we automatically capture as you use MeetingResult to manage your meeting process. Each meeting is scored on a range of 0-100 with 100 being the most effective meeting imaginable. We also compute MEI at the project level, which takes into consideration all your individual meeting MEI scores plus how well you and your meeting attendees follow up on post meeting assignments.
Here we have the Individual Meeting Level MEI scores, which are viewable from within the Project Dashboard for each of your Projects.
The maximum score for MEI at the individual meeting level is 100 points. Points are earned in the following areas:
Completion of Objectives - To achieve the full credit for a meeting you must compete all the objectives defined for the meeting. Objectives are noted as completed by checking them off during meeting execution by using the check box located to the right of each Objective.
Completion of Agenda Items - To achieve full credit for a meeting you must compete all the agenda items defined for the meeting. Agenda Items are noted as completed by checking them off during meeting execution by using the check box located to the right of each Agenda Item.
Attendance - To achieve full credit for a meeting all invited attendees must attend the meeting. Attendees are noted as present by clicking their names in the attendee’s drop-down during meeting execution. A check mark will appear next to each attendee that is noted as present for the meeting.
Percentage of Meeting Assets that are Action Items and Decisions - This MEI component rewards meeting leaders that conduct meetings that generate actions and make decisions as these are clear indications of meetings that move your business initiatives forward. This component computes the percentage of meeting assets that are action items and decisions.
Project Scores - The maximum score for the Meeting Effectiveness Index (MEI) at the Project level is 100 points. Points are earned in the following areas:
Average of all individual meeting MEI scores and percentage of action items, issues and risks completed on time. This component is capturing how well owners of action items, issues and risks are following up and completing their assignments on time.
